The Urban Eddy Public Art @ CLT Powerhouse Studio

Public art project called The Urban Eddy which the artist specifically designed to activate this building from all three sides — and to look great whether interior, exterior, pedestrian, light rail or car viewing.

Jarvi’s custom water glass rounds were photographed and printed on translucent vinyl (1.5’, 2.5’, and 4.5’). They were installed on glass doors/windows of CLT Powerhouse Studio in January 2018.

Originally started when the artist pitched her idea for micro-grant to Historic South End. TPM Color Lab printed & installed. (In fall 2018 project signage was added to exterior building on the alley side.)

All photos by Mitchell Kearney Photography.
