Support McColl Center & Artists | New Benefit Art Sale | SOLD (9.29.20)

Time of COVID-19, shutdowns, lockdowns, and cancellations, finally has some bright spots…

I’m excited to share my new glass... wall-mounted piece, Soft Whispers, got juried into next month's McColl Center for Art + Innovation fundraiser! (All pics by Mitchell Kearney Photography.)

(Don't know every artist. But, lots of great art available at a variety of price points & styles:)

All the proceeds of this virtual McColl Center Benefit Art Sale will immediately support MCAI & the artists!! We know that artists & non-profits like McColl Center have been seriously impacted by COVID-19.

Get YOUR ticket to the sale + auction on October 29 by using the link below and get $20 off with this code ARTIST20 now! (That's only $30 to get in on supporting a beloved art institution — one that's changed the trajectory of my life and others — and first-hand access to collect some sweet original art!)

SEE MORE DETAILS — HOW IT WILL WORK — AT BOTTOM OF THIS POST.

FYI... in case you want to know more about my new piece created with my favorite Bullseye GlassHang Your Glass hardware:) It's called "Soft Whispers." Wall-mounted kiln glass. The overall area is 24”x20” with individual rounds ranging from 8.5” to 4.25” in diameter, by varying depths from the wall. 2020. $1025**

The buyer will receive installation directions and paper templates for easy hanging. (Okay for the collector to alter the arrangement. SEE THIS LINK FOR OTHER ARRANGEMENT.)

“Soft Whispers” is a further move into a more subtle water glass. Like the state of life many of us find ourselves in these COVID-19 days, at a glance, things look/seem one way. Yet, in real life, there’s much more depth and soft details. This glass has layers of iridescent — almost clear or maybe blue — glass… all on top of a milky opaline.

**Note: Special price to support McColl Center. Normally $1375.

NOTE: The buyer can rearrange these wall-mounted glass rounds like this or another way. I provide a paper template for this arrangement, as well as individual templates for each round.

Preview Event...

Although McColl Center is still closed to the public at this time and under construction in parts of the building, they will still have an in-person preview of the work. (Need to buy a ticket in order to get the in-person preview option. $20 off with this code ARTIST20.)

The Preview event will take place on:

Saturday, October 24, 2020 | 1:00pm - 5:00pm

Sunday, October 25, 2020 | 11:00am - 4:00pm

While inside of McColl Center, they have a few precautions to keep everyone safe:

Masks will be required for entry into McColl Center and should be worn at all times while inside the building. Directional signage will be placed throughout McColl Center to keep you moving in one direction and to avoid that awkward run-in with someone. (If you have symptoms or a fever, please cancel your viewing appointment out of respect for your fellow art lovers.)

Sign up here for the Preview.
