Artsy Purchase Supports McColl Center & Carmella (8.22.20)

Since 2006, I’ve been fortunate enough to have multiple artist residencies… including two at McColl Center for Art + Innovation. Just like artists, these non-profits have taken a HUGE loss over COVID-19.

Purchasing my water-inspired glass and paintings through Artsy right now continues to support their work and mine!

In 2019, I was the Atrium Health AiR at McColl Center. Was blessed to have the funds and space to work on my own water-inspired art… and work with teens and Mercy Hospital on a Healing Waters project.

There are so many reasons why these residencies can be game-changers for an artist… professionally and artistically. And, in a COVID-19 world, these creative/arts non-profits are hurting deep and wide.

Even before the pandemic and it’s ongoing lockdowns, I loved to sell my work through an organization like McColl Center. Why? They are part of the reason I am where I am and are in fact a partner in my success as a full-time artist.

When I sell work through MCAI, it’s a win/win/win. (Collector is happy too.)

With that said, IF you love my glass or abstract, water-inspired paintings, please consider buying one of these through Artsy before September 1, 2020.

Your purchase will help my business bottom line and help provide more art for others THROUGH the McColl Center. (They’ve done a lot to help artists get paid during this time… including offering virtual art experiences taught by artists.)
